What exactly am I actually purchasing?
When you puchase Ultimate Songwriter Series you are in fact purchasing a LICENSE to use the sounds within your musical compositions, whether or not your compositions are released commercially.
What format are the loops?
24 bit wav, Midi, Logic Audio.
Are the loops royalty free?
Yes.
How can I use the sounds?
You may use the sounds in combination with other sounds within your musical compositions. You may release such compositions commercially without payment of any further fees or royalties for such usage. For example, if you are the original purchaser of a sample CD, and you used sounds from it to create the soundtrack of a television commercial, simply by combining a synth loop sample with a guitar loop, and the TV advert was broadcast hundreds of times, you would keep all the royalties that the advert earns you, because you already purchased a private license to use the sounds commercially. You cannot use the sounds in isolation (i.e. when not within musical compositions) as part of a commercially released project – for instance you cannot use the sounds to make another sample CD, or for sound effects on a website or multimedia production – unless as part of a composition with other sounds.
Who else can use the sounds from the product that I purchased?
Nobody, unless they also purchased the same product from brand new. Only the ORIGINAL PURCHASER of has the right to use the sounds commercially. This means that you CANNOT SELL or give the sounds to anyone else. If you do, and they use the sounds within a commercial release, they will have to pay royalties to The Keyboard Master for using the sounds. You will also have broken the law and may be liable to a heavy fine. You cannot place the samples on a torrent or file sharing network.
Do I have to credit my use of the sounds on my album sleeve, etc?
This is not essential, but if you do please credit TheKeyboardmaster.com. Credit is always appreciated. If you have any other questions about usage or licensing, please contact us.
What if a School, College, Studio or other institution purchases a product?
The Licence covers the release of original tracks using the sounds and produced by the establishment or studio name -individual names can be added. If an individual within the organisation wishes to use the sounds as produced under his own name, that person must purchase another disc in order to obtain a licence agreement. If you are a school, college or educational establishment and wish to purchase a multi-user agreement to cover your classes, this can be organised purchasing our schools package.
Can I sell the samples once I have used them, or finished using them?
NO you cannot, you have purchased a single user licence for life, and it is not transferrable – so please dont break the law and kill our business by trying to sell the samples you have licenced the use of from us, its unfair to all the musicians and producers who work hard to bring you these sounds at an affordable price.
Where do I find my download link for my order?
Once your order is completed you can access your download in the order confirmation email you received. You get 3 download attempts for every product you have ever ordered and there is no time limit in which you have to use up these attempts – so if your hard drive crashes in a years time, you will still have some download attempts left.
How can I contact The Keyboard Master?

Zip File Instructions
What is a Zip file?
Zip files are single files, sometimes called “archives”, that contain one or more compressed files. Zip files make it easy to keep related files together and make transporting, e-mailing, downloading and storing data and software faster and more efficient. The Zip format is the most popular compression format used in the Windows environment, and WinZip is the most popular compression utility.
How do I open a Zip file?
Download and Install WinZip from http://www.winzip.com. Copy the Zip file to the location on your hard drive you wish the Sample pack to be. On PC right click and use the Winzip Extract to here tab. On Mac Just Double Click the Zip file. This way ensures all files and folder stuctures will be correct. My Zip file will not extract. The most likely cause of this is that the file has not been downloaded in full and the zip is corrupt. You will need to download the File again, if you use all of your 3 download attempts and are still having problems, contact us via email.
What Exactly Does the Zip Contain?
The Zip contains All Samples from the product in 24 bit wav, Midi and Logic Audio file formats.
How can I use the FREE downloaded Sounds from your site within my music?
You can ONLY test and try the loops and sounds within your music composition, but you can NOT release such compositions commercially without buying a full license product. Also you can NOT use the sounds in isolation – for instance you can not use the sounds to make another sample library, or within a multimedia application.
When I buy The Ultimate Songwriter samples, what am I actually buying?
When you purchase a Ultimate Songwriter library, you are not obtaining ownership of the sounds – you are only purchasing a license to use the sounds within your musical compositions. The Keyboard Master will always remain the owner of the sounds on the samples.
When I buy a full license, how can I use the sounds on the samples?
You may use the sounds in combination with other sounds within your musical compositions. You may also release such compositions commercially without payment or any further fees. For example, if you are the original purchaser of a Keyboard Master sample library containing a drum loop and a music sample, and you use these sounds to create a radio commercial, simply by combining the drum loop with the music sample, and the advert was broadcast hundreds of times. You would still keep all the royalties that the advert earns you, because you already purchased a private license to use the sounds commercially. You can not use the sounds in isolation (i.e. when not within musical compositions) as part of a commercially released project for instance you can not use the sounds to make another sample library.
I’m about to release my song on a record which includes sounds from an Ultimate Songwriter product, do I need any clearance?
No (see above)
Do I have to pay any other fees if I use these samples on my record?
No, your original purchase of the samples is your only license fee.
Can my colleagues or friends use these samples that I bought?
No, each person who used the sounds must have purchased their own personal copy (which licenses them to use the sounds). Anyone other than the original purchaser of the sounds, who uses the sounds, has done it illegally – risking legal action against both them and their clients!
Is it OK to loan the samples from friends or colleagues to check them out -and if I use them in my composition, then buy my own personal copy?
No, this effectively voids the license agreement -you can not compensate this breach by buying your personal copy afterwards. If this were to be the case a person could have every library on the market copied -but only have to pay for a disc when the person have managed to use sounds from a disc -so no sorry this is not accepted.
Can I offer the sounds on your samples to clients that I work with in my recording studio?
No, sorry, each person who uses the sounds (the creative person) has to be a licensed user, and must therefore also purchase a personal copy from The Keyboard Master.
Is it OK to sell the samples when I’m finished with the project that I used them within?
No, this is VERY IMPORTANT. Unlike your musical gear or even software, you can NOT give away or sell the samples used to someone else – you did NOT purchase the sounds, you ONLY purchased a license to use the sounds within your music, and the license you bought is not transferable to a third party.
